Plug-and-Play RTLS Infrastructure
Deploy a BLE Real-Time Location System (RTLS) in an instant with our plug-and-play Owl-in-One.
What Does it Do?
The Owl-in-One detects compatible Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices in range and streams their wireless packets to our Pareto Anywhere open source software via Ethernet or WiFi. In other words, the kit detects and identifies wireless devices such as smartphones, wearables, electronic appliances and beacons that are "advertising" in your space. — What's advertising?
What Do I Need?
All you need is an network-connected router/switch with a free Ethernet port, or WiFi (requires config), and an AC outlet (or 1A USB outlet).
What Else Can I Configure?
The Owl-in-One runs our tessel-edge code which affords many configuration options, for example:
- multiple Owl-in-Ones can be configured to establish a WiFi network amongst themselves and stream data to any computer that connects to the network (tutorial).
- an Owl-in-One can be configured to forward data directly to an Elasticsearch database (tutorial to come)
